Today has been quite an interesting day, my list of "last minute things to do" had to be put aside, as I spent pretty much all day at the vet with Gigi. She ended up having to be hospitalized for a case of pancreatitis. Needless to say, we are very sad & worried about this, we love our "G. dog" she's only 3 years old and has never been ill a day in her life, but of course it has to happen less than 3 days before we leave for Colombia. This does absolutely wonders for the stress level!!! :<(
Please continue to pray for Gigi, it's breaking our heart that we won't be here to care for her and we don't want to even start thinking of the "what ifs!"
WE just have to keep our minds and hearts focused on the wonderful things that are ahead!!!

OK – how much more closely can your dog situation be to ours! I can’t believe it! It’s like living it all over for me – Jasmine being hospitalized the night before we leave and having to have surgery! Keep holding onto God. He will take care of her like He did of Jasmine!
